![]() ![]() The two-tone gray RX200S was getting dull so I’m glad I was sent the stunning all Black version ( available in several color combinations). The WISMEC Reuleaux RX2/3 was designed by JayBo in the USA and built by WISMEC in China. Once you hold the mod in the slimmed down frame and see how comfortable it truly is in the hand, I don’t see why you would add that third battery ever again! Battery life does suffer by removing that third battery but if you plan on running it anywhere close to the 150W-200W range, throw that third battery back on. But where the Reuleaux RX2/3 shines is the dual battery model for that easier grab and go vaping experience. Installing the third battery door extends the WISMEC Reuleaux RX2/3 back to its standard triple size, power bumps back up to a comfortable 200W ( now a staggering and accurate 250W with the 4.12 update), maintaining that powerful, heavy, triple cell Box Mod that we’re all familiar with. ![]() It’s not impossible it just takes a knowledgeable engineering department and enough resources to get the job done. If you’re wondering, squeezing 200W out of two 18650 batteries was possible, I would tell you the facts say absolutely! SMOK has done it several times, successfully, while others have fallen short. With only two batteries, ( not included) your power output drops down to 150W ( 200W with the new 4.12 version update) automatically without any other needed action besides swapping the doors out. Having the Reuleaux RX2/3 has been a godsend since it can be used in the signature triple cell format or a new dual 18650 orientation, giving you a more ergonomic and versatile device reducing the size almost 30% in a matter of seconds and only weighing 242g with installed batteries!īy eliminating the third battery, the form factor of a dual 18650 setup is basically a Reuleaux with the back end chopped off. But I always loved the performance, construction and visual appeal of WISMEC products but was stuck in a ‘ stay at home’ dilemma. The weight, the bulkiness and the amount of batteries that’s required to transport the older RX200 Mods is unrealistic. ![]() The portability of the triple 18650 behemoth didn’t make logical sense when I had other devices easier to carry around within arms-reach. Owning both the WISMEC Reuleaux RX200 and RX200S, I can confidently say I’ve never been inclined to take it outdoors. The WISMEC Reuleaux Series CLICK FOR LARGER IMAGE ![]()
